Patients at any phase of a serious illness can receive care and comfort from Catholic Community Hospice. An assortment of choices for care are available for individuals. We are here to help, whether you need just a brief visit to help you decide what is best or whether you require an entire team of caregivers to help you decide.
Catholic Community Hospice utilizes specially trained nurses, physicians, chaplains, social workers, aides and others who attend to pain and additional symptoms, spiritual and emotional needs of patients and relatives, and enhance the quality of life.
Palliative care can be administered at any phase of serious illness. Hospice is a special type of palliative care for people who have life-limiting illnesses and who are focused on comfort, rather than a cure. Remember – not all Palliative Care is Hospice, but all Hospice Care is palliative.
Patients may receive care from Catholic Community Hospice in several settings—at home, in assisted living facilities or in nursing facilities.

th of May. Her full-time job is on-call nurse during the week for all of our patients. Due to several nurses being out due to illness in May Kathy graciously agreed to also work during the daytime hours and make patient visits. Kathy is a very compassionate and caring nurse to all the patients she sees. Thank you Kathy.
